Have not driven yet in snow.
The Falken Azenis PT722 has been a fair set of tires for my recently purchased '06 VW GTI (MKIV, 1.8T). With the OEM shocks/suspension/ride height and factory aluminum wheels, the vehicle manages to retain a reasonable grip on the road, with reasonable noise, and reasonable vibration on the highway. Significant acceleration from a stop and/or tight cornering will quickly show that these are not performance-minded tires, but they aren't billed as such, so no harm, no foul there. That said, recent icing in our area has put the "all-weather" side of these tires to the test and I've been quite pleased with their performance at low speeds on both solid ice and rugged patches of slurry. Overall, the Falken Azenis PT722s seem to be a decent set of all-around tires, but if you're looking for even a slight boost in street performance, you may want to consider other options.
Good Tires
Tires handle very well, smooth ride and low road noise.
